As Always, Our Time Is Now

Hello from beautiful Austin, Texas! This is Gabriel and this is the first time I’ve written in this fine publication.  I felt compelled to offer my thoughts on what I’ve seen over the past few weeks and months, not just here in Austin, but all over our great country.  In the past week, I have attended [...]

Somebody should have told me that Austin has hills.  Lots of them.  And I think Gabriel and I climbed every single one of the Austin hills.  Anyway, we joined 5,000 marathon runners and 6,000 additional half marathon runners during the race.  The weather was beautiful, the crowds were excited (and generous with the gummy bears) [...]

Storyville runs the Austin Marathon

Gabriel and I will be running the Austin Marathon on Sunday.  The race is a 26.2 mile tour of Texas’ capitol city.  I’ll be sporting a “Barack Obama is Good” t-shirt during the race, while Gabriel will be wearing a custom-made race shirt (proudly made at Storyville in Baton Rouge).  The race kicks off at [...]
