Guess who won “Summer Lovin’”…

"Nola Seasons" went viral on Facebook.

Congratulations to Lauren Alsop, who won the “Summer Lovin’” tee shirt design contest with her uber-popular submission, “Nola Seasons.” Lauren takes home the $1,000 grand prize and her design will be sold in all of Storyville’s Louisiana shops. In her design, Lauren managed to capture New Orleans fun-loving spirit as it is applied to each season of the year. “Nola Seasons” garnered over 3,000 likes on Facebook, making it our most popular tee shirt design contest submission to date.

Given the immense popularity of this design, we are bringing this design to market in record time. Once the contest ended on Friday and all of the Storyville staff members turned in their votes, we had ourselves a clear winner. We then worked over Memorial Day weekend at the Storyville Print Shop to get these tees printed in time for a Monday morning release. So here they are, the adult “Nola Seasons” tees, available in lapis blue and asphalt gray.

This is a five color print, all done by hand, the old fashioned way. Soon, we will have this design available in infant one pieces, toddler tees, youth tees, adult unisex tank tops and burnout tops. But the very first batch of these tees are available in lapis blue and asphalt gray.

One contest ends and another begins. Our Baton Rouge-themed “Mighty, Mighty BR” contest kicks off today and runs through Friday. All designs must somehow incorporate something to do with the city of  Baton Rouge into the design. Make sure to get in your votes (or designs) for a chance to win $500 in this week-long contest.

Next week, we will be back with another $1,000 contest, “Animal Kingdom.” The only requirement for “Animal Kingdom” is that an animal of any stripe be incorporated into or the main focus of the design. “Animal Kingdom” will run from June 4 – 15.
