Themes for Contest #10, future contests announced
On Monday morning, we will announce the winner of our “Storyville Kids” design contest, which frankly, may be our best contest to date in terms of overall quality of submissions. Tomorrow, we will also kick off contest #9, our “Rep Your City: Lafayette” design contest, which will run for 5 days and will feature a $500 top prize.
And here’s what’s coming for future contests in the coming months. Contest #10, a celebration of neighborhoods, will launch on July 16 and run through July 20. “Neighborhoods,” our one-week-only “sprint” contest will also feature a $500 top prize. From the Marigny to Gentilly in New Orleans, from Spanish Town to the Garden District in Baton Rouge and from Travis Heights to West Campus in Austin, there are plenty of proud neighborhoods to celebrate in our upcoming contest.
And here’s a preview of some upcoming contests in the coming months. In the pipeline, we’ve got a “Black & Gold” contest, a Texas (state-wide) contest and a contest that focuses on Louisiana cities other than New Orleans, Lafayette and Baton Rouge. And a few surprises along the way.
