And the winner of “The Mighty Mighty BR” is…

Ali Becnel won our Baton Rouge-themed tee shirt contest.

The winner of Storyville’s tee shirt design contest #5 is Ali Becnel, who just won $500 with her “Saturday Night in Baton Rouge” design. Ali’s design received the most Facebook “likes,” and it also finished in first place in staff voting.

Click here to pre-order “Saturday Night in Baton Rouge.” We will be printing these tees this week, and they will be on the shelves of our Mall of Louisiana shop by Friday.

We were impressed with many of the contest submissions. Above, you can see the designs that finished in the top five in voting, but five additional designs finished just outside of the top five, including “Ceci n’est pas un Baton Rouge,” “Geaux Fetch,” “BR Nite,” “Chinese New Year” and “Long Walks on the Levee.” Don’t be surprised if some of these runners up end making their way onto the shelves of our Baton Rouge shop.

In a few months, we’ll do another Baton Rouge-centric design contest, but now it’s time to go wild. Our two week long “Animal Kingdom” contest just went live. The contest is simple. All designs must feature an animal. The winner of the contest takes home $1,000 and will have his or her design sold in our shops. “Animal Kingdom” begins today and runs through Friday, June 15 at Midnight. The winner of the contest will be announced right here on this blog at 10 am on Monday, June 18.
