What to do in Baton Rouge: Food Truck Wround-Up
We all know that Austin has a food truck craze, but did you know that Baton Rouge has its fair share of food trucks as well?
There are many to choose from with lots of different types of food- and, honestly, some of the best food I’ve ever had.
They serve anything from gourmet hotdogs to cuban food to tacos!

Every Wednesday night a bunch of food trucks in Baton Rouge pick one location to meet up and serve their food. It’s a good way to try different things. You get to eat out in a totally different way! It’s called the Baton Rouge Food Truck Wround-Up- they have their own Facebook page, and they let you know where they will be every Wednesday.

They don’t only serve food on Wednesdays, though. If you click here, you can see all of the Baton Rouge food trucks and where they say they are for the day.
They don’t always have consistent times or menus, but that’s the fun of it.
A lot of people think eating out of a truck in unsanitary, but most are usually way cleaner than a restaurant’s kitchen. If you just take a peek inside one of the trucks you can see how clean they keep it.
Tonight, the food trucks will be meeting at Perkins Palms (near Perkins at Essen). Head on over and get some good grub from 5-8 PM!
And while, you’re on this side of town, stop in at our Mall of Louisiana shop and pick up a tee!
We’ve rolled in a number of new designs lately that you don’t want to miss out on!
