See Posters for Design Contests 7, 8 & 9

It's time to shake your money maker for a good cause. Just like the Mayor. Special thanks to Jonathan Bachman for taking this marvelous photo.
Here’s the scoop on our upcoming design contests. Our current contest, “Animal Kingdom,” will run through this Friday at Midnight, and then we’re going to have some fun with the next three contests. “Mitch Landrieu Dance Machine” will be our first contest aimed at raising money for charity, namely Trombone Shorty’s “Horns for Schools” project (of which New Orleans Mayor Landrieu has been a big supporter). The winning design in this contest will take home $500. This contest will only run for five days, so start working on those submissions.
If you like the photo featured in the poster above, make sure to check local photographer Jonathan Bachman’s online portfolio. Jonathan has some pretty impressive pics online, including many of New Orleans.
Our next $1,000 contest will run from June 25 – July 6, and the theme will be “Storyville Kids.” For this contest, we’re looking for fresh new designs for our stand-alone kids shop on Magazine Street. The following week, we show some love to Lafayette, Louisiana, and kick off our “Rep Your City” series of design contests. The winning Lafayette-themed design will take home $500.

Can you design $1,000 baby clothes?
What up, Lafayette?

It's about time that Storyville and Lafayette got together.
Stay tuned for more details.
